Is there a website where you can put in features of artwork from a CD/album, and it'll find what the album is?
I might have dreamt this, but seem to remember a website where you could put into the search box, for example, 'Tiger' and it would return all the albums with the picture of a tiger in the artwork.
I'm trying to track down what some CDs are and literally only have small thumbnails of the covers - the title is too small to decipher - and a website like this would help immensely!

I'd have to agree with fire&wings; Ask Metafilter is the only one I know.

Post them to amazon's mechanical turk. And instead of just getting the one (or 30) answer(s) you need, you could build that database and then sell it to cddb/gracenote for money. Actually email me at the address in my profile and I'll get us started. Problem: It's probably going to cost about 25¢ each for mainstream albums and more for obscure stuff.
Also see theesp game, which generates tags for pictures by extracting them from players in a simple game.
But no, there's no database for this.

Maybe you're thinking of this, which I posted to projects a long time ago? It does exactly what you're asking (use the "search by tag" box), although there are only about 17,000 albums tagged so far so it may not help you identify your albums yet.

Check out this thread, read the whole thing so that you can understand (it's a different case) but that 411song.com sounds like it could pull it off, they gave him an answer to that one (and it wasn't easy) in seconds.
