Help me find a song from City of God!

City of God Filter: Please please help me find the name of the song (artist who performs it) that is playing during Benny's going away party at the club/disco. (NOT "Kung Foo Fighting")

It's the slow-ish, Motown-ish song that's playing during the party, I think it plays after "Kung Foo Fighting", and might even be the song Rocket plays when he is in the DJ booth. I even heard the song in a local CVS just after Christmas, so I know it's not a song specific to the movie. I checked the soundtrack, and it's not on there (or at least, I couldn't tell, but it looks like the soundtrack has all original music). Thanks in advance.

Does it turn up on the list of songs on IMDB (which includes Kung Fu Fighting but none of the original tracks on the soundtrack)?

Response by poster: It might, but I don't know the name of the song. I know it's not "Sex Machine", and I'm pretty sure it's not the Bachman-Turner Overdrive song (although I could be wrong, and have been many times before). I only know that the song has a massively awesome descending arpeggio-like phrase from the horn section...which upon closer examination, could possibly be "So Very Hard To Go" by Tower of Power. Which meshes nicely with the theme of the scene. Although I'm not sure...can the Hive confirm?

Shoot, I have to watch that movie again. I love that movie and I love that song but I totally didn't catch that the first time around.
