Why can't I type login info in Firefox 2.0.0.1?

Why can't I type login info in Firefox 2.0.0.1 First off I have disabled any add on in firefox and reinstalled a freshly downloaded copy. My Problem: Whenever I try to login to a site which pops up a login screen I can click in the text box but I cannot type anything. These pages work fine in IE and on another computer in firefox. Does anyone have a clue? Thanks

Best answer: I apologize for the wasted question, another re installation curd the problem.
