Suggestions on where to look for women's cashmere "lounge" pants in Chicago? there is of course
I'd like to get my special lady friend some comfy pants for Christmas but am unsure where to look. Typically I buy all my gifts online as the crowds eat away at me, but this is something I'd prefer to buy "local" in the event that my grand gift idea is ill received. In additional to store suggestions, what exactly should I be looking for? A quick google search indicates I could spend any where from $40 to $1500 . Why the disparity and how much does it matter? What should I look for?

You should probably just go to Saks or Neimans and put yourself in the hands of an experienced salesperson. They can show you different weights of cashmere so you'll understand what you're paying for.

I don't know for certain that any of these places have cash lounge pants but that's where I'd look. Also, google tells me there's a shop called Manrico Cashmere at 970 N Michigan Ave. Never heard of it but worth calling.
As for what to look for. Check out these.
