Forgotten title of book about a woman who lived as a man

Can't remember title of an autobiographical book about a woman who lived as a man for a period of time.
It was excerpted on Guardian Unlimited about six months ago. I remember anecdotes about going bowling regularly with a group of men, going on lots of dates with straight women and some stuff about how different it felt for the author to be on the street and be the observer rather than the observed.
Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just listened to an excellent NPR podcast where they interviewed her. You can find it in their Driveway Moments podcasts.

She was also a guest on the Colbert Report, although I can't remember when off the top of my head - maybe in January?

I'm pretty sure there was even a post about it in the blue when it came out.
Aha. Here it is.
