Songs about 'home' and 'soul.'

I'm doing a presentation soon, and I need some ideas of popular songs that relate to home, coming home, the journey home, and soul (either "the soul" or just soul itself in title/lyrics). The songs need to be quasi-knowledgable to a large audience of a large age/culture range. Thanks in advance!
Maybe the antithesis but sure seems to capture the feel of what you are after would be Our Town by Iris Dement.
I guarantee a lump in every throat.

Cinderella - Coming Home. Pretty nice and mild for an 80s hair pop-metal band.

This Must be the Place (Naive Melody) - Talking Heads. More or less acoustic, very catchy, very sweet lyrics comparing home to a lovers arms.

Black Crowes - Soul Singing
Morrissey - Satan Rejected My Soul. Yeah, maybe not the best concept for a nice presentation. Very peppy song though!

sourwookie - great choice. The live version of this she does on A Prairie Home Companion 25th Anniversary Collection CD is devastating.
