What was the heat or deep conditioner they used?

I got haircuts for a while at an Aveda salon near me that has since closed. They used to use a conditioner on my hair, where they left my head wrapped in a heated towel for a few minutes, before cuts. Whatever it was, its smoothing effect lasted several days, and I loved it. I'd like to splurge on whatever that was to treat myself in these awful days.

I don't fully remember whether they rinsed it out after the hot-soak, but I think they did. I don't think it was a spray, but it might have been?

Looking at Aveda products, there are heat protectant sprays, deep conditioners (but not heat-activated?), and regular conditioners. I'm a very simple person hair-wise, I wash daily and air dry, so I don't think it would have been a heat protectant spray since I don't style much, and I usually ask them not to over-style me.

If this rings a bell, please speculate on what it is?

I believe you are interested in the Aveda Repair Botanical Treatment. They have other services that are more formulated for the scalp as well.
