Where to find resale concert tickets in London?

I'm an American who is planning to visit London this spring. I'd like to attend a concert at a major venue that is sold out.

In the US, it would be possible to buy legitimate resale tickets through Ticketmaster. There appears to be a Ticketmaster.co.uk but there are no resale tickets listed for this concert.

Can anyone refer me to a legit market for resale concert tickets in London? I am certain that scalpers would be only too glad to take my money and I'd like to avoid that if possible.

Have you tried Googling for the event name or venue name? That usually brings up a lot of reseller site links for me.

As for recommendation for reseller sites, here's Stubhub's view of events in London.

Response by poster: I appreciate that suggestion. Unfortunately when I follow it to the event/venue, I get a result a lot like Ticketmaster--a link to a co.uk version of Stubhub that has a venue map but no tickets listed.

When I google, I get a lot of options, but I'm not familiar with any of them, hence the ask for someone to recommend a trustworthy source. I expect resale tickets to be considerably marked up in a legit market and, as I said, I'm sure that scammers would be only too happy to take my money.

The most promising looking site I've found is Vividseats. Starting prices for retail tickets for the show I'm interested in are in the $500 range. I'd prefer some validation so I don't gamble $1000 away!

I’ve bought resale tickets from uk Ticketmaster before, so it’s not impossible - maybe they just don’t have any availability right now.

You might get more useful replies if you share the concert details?

As far as reputable goes, the jury's out because these companies are buying up original tickets and reselling them, but Stubhub and Vivid Seats are both reliable in my experience.

I've also bought resale tickets throughout Ticketmaster UK

Reputable resale places in the UK are hard to find and the best bet is to join fan groups on your usual social platforms as people close to the time will be posting FRIEND CAN'T COME type posts. You could even post your own AMERICAN SEEKING TICKET. FYI touts = scalpers. I think it will also get a lot busier right before the time, so you might not find much til then.
