When is it appropriate to re-post "Jingle Rock Bell"?

I am considering a post about Lentrohamsanin's timeless, haunting winter classic song, "Jingle Rock Bell." Is it too early in the holiday season to make a FPP about it -- should I wait until this weekend to loose the mighty earworm on the world?

Best answer: Jingle Rock Bell is eternal. Post it today. Post it in June. Enlist your friends. Make a TikTok dance for it and get it trending. Never stop posting it.

Best answer: It's appropriate anytime in (western) Advent or Christmas season. This year, 1 Dec through 5 Jan inclusive. On Epiphany, though, it's time to put it away until next time.

Best answer: Every day is "Jingle Bell Rock" day, if we only post hard enough. Seriously, though, I'm in favor of posting this content as early and often as you see fit.

Also, I "love" that the MetaTalk well is now so poisoned that both mods and MeFites are posting clearly MetaFilter-related questions to AskMe, so that they don't fall to the taint.

aw, I get why my comment was deleted. for posterity, the gag:

Jingle Bell Rock is an abomination, Anything that issues from its soil is venomous. it utterly resists and co-opts parody. when you peer into Jingle Bell Rock it peers back, smacking its wet and grasping lips in anticipation.

That is not dead which eternal jingles.
