Rock me like a Raccoon

I'm running a game of Crash Pandas next week, in which a gang of raccoons engages in a high-octane illegal street race. One of the raccoons, Alice, is a back alley drummer and general badass. She has a mixtape. What's on her mixtape? I need high energy, lo-fidelity rock suggestions, bonus points for ties to the Northwest, gold stars for references to trash, raccoons, etc.

Oh man I don't know but your description made me instantly think of the Night Garbage aesthetic from this episode of Drawfee (my favorite youtube channel). Which I think you may enjoy.

Best answer: Not sure of particular songs that hit the ideal topics but for high energy lo-fi gleeful badassery from the Pacific Northwest you can’t go wrong with the Fastbacks. Maybe also look at related bands from that scene (Young Fresh Fellows / the Minus 5) but what makes Fastbacks the best choice IMHO is the girl power of Kim and Lily trading off lead vocals and harmonizing unexpectedly well in the middle of a DIY jam.

Best answer: How about some Lemon Thunder? the fi is lo and the energy is high, and they’re based in Portland.

Best answer: big stick/drag racing underground springs to mind. in their stage personae they were kind of the human incarnations of raccoons and there's a lotta drag racing in their repertoire iirc

Best answer: Rocky Raccoon seems a little too on the um, nose.

Slew Test 2 by Kid Koala always energizes me.

If you like Crash Pandas, I gotta give a shoutout to Raccoon Sky Pirates, which is available for download or as a physical, boxed product (with a raccoon d12!)

Best answer: There’s a raccoon on the album art for Super Furry Animals’ Radiator, and somehow I’m imagining this crash panda blasting Chupacabras.
