Knee Ski - Flee? - No - PT!

I'd like a NYC Physical Therapist Recommendation for rehab of a skiing injury/strengthening of my knees.

Background: Middle aged dude, mildly unfit advanced skier.

Knees felt janky last winter. Had some MRI done after knee pain and instability in squats, along with mild unexplained pain at back of knees when walking/sitting.

One knee: oblique tear of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus with a tiny parameniscal cyst. There is mild mucoid degeneration of the posterior cruciate ligament.

Other knee: a complex tear of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus. Full-thickness patellar chondral fissure.

Ortho recommends PT for injury. I'd really like to get my knees in shape to ski in jan.

PT must:i) Take Aetna POS insurance ii) have Familiarity with Skiing-related PT iii) ideally be in Queens - or off manhattan on E/F line.

Anyone have a PT to recommend?

Is the Queens or Manhattan location a firm requirement? I had great success with a specific PT when I broke my knee (pretty damn bad, too), but the four locations for that franchise are all in Brooklyn. One location is a block from a C train stop, however, if that would be acceptable.

I definitely can attest to their skill; my kneecap was COMPLETELY shattered in 2020 and the surgery to repair was pretty extensive, but today the only lingering effect is a wee bit of weakness in one specific muscle, and that may be more about me being lazy with the exercises at home. It feels a little different but I can still function at the level I need to function, and considering how bad the break was that's pretty remarkable.

Another thought - you've mentioned Queens or the E/F in Manhattan, which to this Brooklynite suggests that the G or the B62 bus might also work for you. And the location I used was in Williamsburg, right near a 62 bus stop.
