Warm and talented therapist in Brooklyn or Manhattan?

Damn it - my depression is back. It's probably a good idea to address this with a pro. Have you or a friend worked with a therapist in NYC who genuinely helped? I would be eternally grateful to hear about it. Insurance: Oxford, but willing to consider out of network. Location: Live in Park Slope, work near Union Square. Totally willing to travel. Thank you!!

I was in therapy for over two years with Gwen Nussbaum who has an office quite close to union square. She was wonderful; warm but also willing to push when necessary, skilled at her work, and easy to talk to. I’m not sure what insurance she takes, but I paid a totally reasonable out of pocket fee. It is not hyperbole to say that she changed my life, or rather, helped me to figure out how to change it in ways I could never have managed prior to working with her.
