Best fun gay club for out of towners in PDX

Hello hivemind, some out of town gays are Arriving and I've been told they wish to "club." Which of the many fine queer establishments in PDX might be best for a couple of really nice gay Midwestern dudes to dance, drink, and have fun? Their family member who asked me also notes they would like them to be safe in a safe part of town. Thanks!

Small town gay dudes from north of the border here.

Though we enjoy a good night partying with pals, we don't often "club" very much in a traditional sense but we really enjoyed our night out at CC Slaughter's the last time we visited Portland (pre-pandemic..). Definitely felt like good vibes there at the time.
