I'm trying to remember the name of the rumored They Might Be Giants compilation album that was supposed to come out in the mid-90s. I think I read about it on Usenet at the time. It would have been similar to Miscellaneous T in that it would have included all the B-sides from the Elektra singles.

I thought the title was "Severe Tire Damage", but that was actually released as a live album. Maybe they re-used the title?

Am I making this up? Or was this actually a thing? Thanks.

Response by poster: To clarify, this album was never released. It was only rumored.

Are you sure you aren’t thinking of Then: The Early Years? Because volume two had their B sides. It was released in 1997.

I don’t have an answer, but I must commend you on the post title [golf clap].

But you could always try sending a message to John and John. They seem like the guys who would answer.

"Then" is a repackaging of their stuff from Bar/None. The B sides are mostly the same songs from Miscellaneous T.

Anyway, I figured it out. It was Superfueled Freakcicle. I used to be was better at googling.

Thanks for all your help.
