How do I get Onitsuka Tigers in the US now?

Looking for legit ways to buy/order Onitsuka Tigers in the US

I finally found a sneaker that I love, the Onitsuka Tigers Mexico 66- super cute and fit my foot perfectly. I just went to buy a new pair (womens sizing pls) and after frustrated googling found out they pulled out of the US market in Nov 2023. I am crushed.

Im willing to pay a markup/duty/shipping, but farfected is frightening. Kicks Crew has a bunch, but Ive never heard of it and UUUUUGH they partner with Kyrie Irving and as someone who lived in NY during his bullshit here, I cannot abide.

What other sites do people suggest? As someone who is not a sneakerhead this is brand new territory for me. Thanks!

eBay

Yeah I have found eBay is the most reliable source for these. I myself have a saved search for "onitsuka tiger" in my size that I check regularly. It's been hit and miss but it has let me keep wearing tigers for long after they've been discontinued here!

You can also check GOAT, Grailed, and other places that do shoe and vintage wear.

Depop is an option if you're willing to go with used.

This is sad news; these were my favorite shoes. I was in Japan in October; I walked into at least two OT stores and if I had known I would have picked up a few pairs.

Depending on what the mark up is buying secondhand you might check for japan shopping services that can buy and forward to you in the US.

This looks like their japanese site: https://www.onitsukatiger.com/jp/ja-jp/

Best answer: StockX is the gold standard for secondary market new sneakers and extremely reliable for this sort of thing. It'll cost about 20% on top of your bid for their authentication services etc, but I've had no issues for the 2-3 pairs of shoes I've gotten through them.

This is the way to go. A few extra steps than going through the likes of eBay, but you will save money, possibly quite a bit (especially given the JPY to USD exchange rate these days).

As for forwarding services: I haven't used them, but quite a few people in my figure collecting circles rely on Big in Japan. From my own experiences, From Japan is very good, but I haven't used them much since they changed their fee structure (it may work in your case, though).

Response by poster: Ok I've already ordered one pair from StockX and this is a dangerous thing to know about. Im debating getting the yellow pair too.

Im also really intrigued by the shipping forwarding options and will check them out. Im a little wary of ebay though I shouldnt be (use it plenty)

In case someone is looking this up in the future- realizing that a women's 7 is equivalent to a mans 5.5 really opened up a lot more options.

Thanks all!
