Does my dream iphone keyboard exist?

Before they died out completely, blackberry had the best on-screen keyboard. The word predictions appeared above letters on the keyboard, not in a bar at the top, and you flicked them up to select. It was so so fast and easy. Is there anything like this for current iphones? I am not asking about physical keyboards.

This video is of an old android app but it illustrates how the flick typing worked starting around 1 min 38 s in.

Best answer: #metafilterfundraiser #chatfilter exemption applied here too, right???
I do not have an answer but i also remember that on-screen keyboard with great fondness!

I'm pretty sure apple has the keyboard pretty locked down so third party keyboards aren't really a thing.
(and RIM patented that UX?) google around for RIM predictive Keyboard Patent if you want to dig deeper there.

Response by poster: No they do have keyboard aps! Thankfully, because I hate the apple one. I'm using SwiftKey, which might be the same prediction back end that blackberry used, and that mostly works well. I just desperately miss the flick typing part.
