My brain is mush trying to remember this mash (up)

I'm looking for a mashup that was posted to MeFi from maybe 10-15ish years ago. Maybe earlier. I absolutely loved it back then, but I never bookmarked it or favorited the post. The details from my memory are kind of slim.

I don't have a ton to go on, just little details.

It was 2 artists:
- an African-American female singer (also possibly a girl group). I think she was singing on a stage, into a microphone. The song was from the 50s or 60s (the video for their part was in black and white)
- An American or British rock band of caucasian men from the 60s or 70s (video may have been black and white, but I can't remember). I think the rock band may begin with "The". The proper noun may be related to a tool? This is what my stupid brain is telling me.

Other details:
- The mashup opens with one of the members of the rock brand saying. "OK", then the drummer kicks in with a pounding snare.
- The female singer does this excited dance like she's jumping and running in place/stamping her feet.
- The female singer's song may have been about a needing a man to respect her, or about loving a man, or not taking shit from a man. A man was involved in some way.
- The BPM may have have been in the 120 -130 range

So yeah, that's all I've got. Hope me? My brain has been playing small chunks of this to me for a long time, and I'd really like to hear it in its entirety again.

This doesn't fit your exact details but fits overall extremely well. The rockers are in black and white, has a driving high tempo beat, motown singers energetically dancing and singing about a problem with a man, etc.

Featuring music from Mötley Crüe’s Ten Seconds to Love from their breakthrough 1983 album Shout At The Devil, McClintock mixes the track’s tight and punchy rhythm against the Motown pop number Nowhere to Run by Martha and the Vandellas.

Response by poster: This is a good one, SaltySalticid! But definitely not it.
But the Supremes may be on the right track. And now I'm thinking the rock band MAY have been ELO.

I mean, there is this ELO / Supremes mashup:

Then there's the Hall and Oates / Supremes:

Response by poster: None of these are it. I’m going to start making a list of potential rock bands and start listening for songs that start with someone saying, „Ok“. I really hope the effort is worth it, and the mashup is a great as I remember.
