What is happening to my iOS reminders?

"Hey Siri, remind me that..." "Okay, I've set a reminder." And I open the reminder app and confirm it's there. A short time later, it's not there. What is happening and how do I fix it?

The reminder could be days/hours away. I visually confirm that the setting is correct. It's in the Reminder app and (sometimes) in the third party apps that tap into the reminder app (Any.do, TickTick). Then, the next time I open any of these apps, including Reminders, it is blank of any upcoming reminders. Doesn't matter if I wait 5 minutes or 2 hours. They're gone and never come back. Help?

To follow up on the iCloud idea a bit, what other devices do you have connected to your Apple ID? I'm guessing you may have a mac or other device which is causing issues.

Response by poster: I deleted the iCloud connection and reconnected it and it seems to be working fine now. Thanks!

I had a sort of similar problem recently with Reminders not being shown to me when they were due. With some research I found there's a Setting for turning Reminders notifications on/off and it kept resetting to off. It took an iOS update to fix the problem.
