Best vegan snack box

I want to get a gift basket/box full of vegan snacks for a loved one. What’s the best one?

It should ship to the US, but doesn’t really matter where it’s from.

This is for someone’s birthday, but it’s also because they’ve got long Covid and are *struggling* with basic day to day stuff and some snacks would be helpful on the food front. So a big gift box that will last awhile is good.

They’re an adventurous eater, but no alcohol.

Nuts.com makes custom assortments of snacks (including things that are not nuts.) They are very vegan-friendly and ship promptly.

I have used Harry and David Harry and David for excellent fruit baskets. They have vegan snack options but it's a little harder to find as a gift.

Check out Riverdel which has great vegan cheese & snacks shipping nationwide from NYC. Their vegan cheeses are really, really special.

I've built my own vegan snack boxes by ordering from Vitacost. You can search on a term, e.g., "chips" or "cookies," then specify "vegan" on the left-hand side. Not as pretty as a commercial snack box, but lots of variety.

Also, this list of Black-owned vegan businesses that ship nationwide may be useful. I can vouch for Southern Roots bakery if you want to send baked goods.

I'm vegan and happily received a large bunny james snack box last year as a holiday gift from my boss.

Also, I've received harry and david baskets before, but fancy dry fruit and nuts from a corporate shop are way less exciting for me than fun assorted vegan snacks.

Response by poster: Went with vitacost for max snacks per dollar and because I could make sure to pick things that wouldn’t melt in the 100 degree + weather. But wow lots of these are so beautiful and fancy and I wanted to order basically all of them.

Response by poster: Ok, I'm going to come back and recommend *against* Vitacost. I got in touch with them after about a week when I noticed that I hadn't gotten a shipping notification. Their customer service took 3 days to get back to me and berated me for not responding to an order verification email which I never received (I checked my spam to be sure.) They had cancelled the order without notifying me when I failed to respond to the (imaginary) verification. They still haven't refunded my card however.

So now I will be ordering from another of the fine options presented here, but it's so late I'm not going to be able to get something there by the birthday :(

Oh wow - I'm so sorry to hear that. I've been ordering from Vitacost for years and I've never had a problem of any kind. And I've never had to deal with an order verification email either. I'm pretty shocked to hear that happened to you and, again, so sorry.

It's quite late, but I hope you were able to find an awesome snack box.
