is there a database of exercises that one can select from & make lists?

You know how there are lists of, like, foods that one can check off and create grocery list subsets of? I want one with exercises.

In this dream scenario, there would be a master list of lots of exercises. Each exercise would be labeled stuff like "back" "core" "shoulders" "thighs" etc.

For the exercises that are combos (like say, squat overhead lifts that do legs, butt, shoulders and arms) they would be labeled with all those fields so they'd come up on a search of any of those. Also I could do a multi-term search that would bring up only exercises that matched all of the terms.

Each exercise would be illustrated with - ideally - a quick video demonstration; or at least a detailed stick figure illustration of the movement, and where one ought to feel it.

You'd go through your search results and check the exercises you want to try, and it would compile a list just of those, which you could either print out or just view on your phone when you go to the gym. And you could add multiple results to the same list (like if you wanted to add both your ab results and your arm results to the same list.)

Does anything like this exist?

Best answer: There is https://exrx.net/

It doesn't automatically create a program for you, although there are templates.

The Sworkit app does this. In the ‘Custom’ tab you can create your own ‘playlists’ of exercises from their database.

The Strong app works like that.
