Looking for a 2000's era quote about the internet's effect on work

It went something like "if you want to know what the internet will do to your profession look at what it's doing to musicians already." Anyone remember this? Thanks!

Best answer: "Whatever happens to musicians happens to everybody" is one of Bruce Sterling's catchphrases. Might have first come up publicly in this SXSW speech.
