Can I get bigger versions of Facebook Ad photos?

Take any image from a Facebook ad (here's a random example, with bonus kitty). I can see in the URL that the image is noted as being 600x600. Is there a way to access any larger versions of that image, if they exist?

I don't think there's a way you can get higher resolution images by fiddling with the URL, If you try to update the 600x600 to something else you get a "URL signature mismatch" error. It doesn't seem like there's a current workaround (there was a bug that let you generate the signature, but it's been fixed).

If you click the three dots at the top right on an ad in your stories, on some ads there's an embed link, click it, and then click "Advanced Settings". Change the pixel width to 750 and then in the preview below, the image might be a bit bigger, and you can download that.

I would try visiting the ad creator's Facebook page as well as their website, and see if the image is available there.

That one, by the way, is an Adobe Stock photo.

You can always search for the image using tineye.com or images.google.com.

When I do that with your sample image, it brings up a bunch of different versions of it, including this larger example. Also, many times those other links DO have a way to access the full-sized image, typically by manipulating the URL a little bit, such as this.

This won't work for everything of course - but typical stock images and such, it usually does.
