Singing about some kinda love....

What song did I hear? The chorus was "a little bit of SOMETHING SOMETHING love".

Ugh this is so vague. Ok I was listening to Spotify a few months ago and heard this really catchy song that was suggested to me. Now I'm trying to find it again.

It was a woman singing. It sounded a little like this song Tango Del Fuego in that its upbeat and has a kind of old fashioned big band swing sound. BUT here is the most important part. In the chorus, she says something like "a little bit of something something love" and the something something is a rhymey thing like "hurdy gurdy love" or "hokey pokey love" or "hanky panky love" or something along those lines. But none of those.

It was such a fun song. I really want to hear it again! And no, checking Spotify history did not help, unless you can figure out a way I can search for longer than 3 months ago :(

Have you tried humming the tune for the SoundHound app? Google may also offer a song-identifying service.

Response by poster: It was definitely a woman singing and she sounded like Amy Winehouse or Paloma Faith. It sounded a lot like the Upside Down song by PF, but it wasn't.

Unfortunately I don't remember enough of the tune to hum it.

You might want to check out a few tracks by Caro Emerald - You don't Love me for example
For a swing song that features the lyrics prominently: My Kinda Love by Ernastine Anderson (and various others)

I'm thinking its Love 3x by ZZ Ward. She has a very distinctive voice that is reminiscent of Amy Winehouse.
