Upgrades to consider for broken Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet?

Back in '21 I purchased a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (SM-P610NZAAXAR). It's worked great. But unfortunately it had quite a fall yesterday, and kiddo brought it to me with stuck-in volume buttons and showing a "Warning, you are about to change the OS" msg. I'm thinking it's broken and the mashed buttons triggered some OS-level signal? Anyhow--I'm considering a new tablet, and am wondering about upgrades in the $300 range. Hesitate to buy the same again but am not finding much around the same price or just a bit more. Any suggestions?

Response by poster: Just to clarify on price--I kept finding out that price is position (e.g. device-capability) in the tablet market, so I am looking for "a little higher" as I search around, but what I'm seeing is that $700 is the next big step up, so to speak. If that's really the case I would rather stick to the last price range of $250+tax or move slightly up into the $300 range if at all possible. Thanks!

At your price point it's probably worth it to take it to a repair shop, it might be an easy fix for them and cost less.
