How would you find this poster IRL?

Trying to help out a good friend who's a big fan of BMW motorcycles. One time, he was at the dealership, and saw this poster (sorry, tiny image). He's talked to the dealership, used reverse image search, and no luck. Just wants to buy a copy of it.

I've trolled around, and found this image a few times attached to an announcement of BMW Motorrad (their motorcycle division) selecting 180 Amsterdam as a new ad agency, but I'm not convinced those two things are connected (the image doesn't appear in their portfolio to the degree I was able to search it).

What do you think? Any help or leads much appreciated.

I got nothing in a Bing reverse image search either so dropped it into tineye.com (a specialist reverse image search engine) but none of the 3 links that came back work.

I dropped the links into the Wayback Machine but only the first tineye link had been archived - it's a bit better, but not great.

Maybe the best way would be to contact BMW direct and see if their marketing department can help?

To narrow down the search: it's a BMW R1100RS.

These folks don't have it. But they might have it some day.

Have you tried contacting 180 Amsterdam directly? From what I could find, the Amsterdam office was the lead office, with some supporting work from the LA office.

put up an ebay alert for the phrases bmw motorcycle, the model number someone mentions above, and bmw motorrad, and if it comes up on ebay you'll be the first to know. i've had alerts come up after years, and it
does seem like this style of dealership poster does end up there from time to time. just do the search in the app or on the web and click "save search"

Best answer: Different images from the same photoshoot appear here.

If you click on one of the images it will take you to a larger image gallery. There is also a video that only shows up in this gallery, but I can't get it to work in any browser.

Taken from the comment above:
This seems to be the right image: https://pictures.topspeed.com/IMG/crop_webp/200604/2006-bmw-r-1200-s-5_1600x0.webp
Fairly good resolution. Not for a large print, though.

Response by poster: Wow, these are all great leads for me. I think my next step will be to reach out to BMW marketing and 180 Amsterdam directly. Thank you! I'll keep working on it.

Ah, OK, R1200RS. They're not markedly different except for the cylinder heads (hardly visible in the OP's image) and I just went with the cockpit shape; a paint pattern often isn't unique to a particular model (although on occasion it can even pinpoint a model year) so that just didn't register with me.
