Portable Internet Radio

Now that San Francisco is getting city-wide Wi-Fi, I'm starting to look around for something I've always wanted: a portable Internet Radio device. Any recommendations?

By Googling around, I can see there are devices out there like the Infusion Wi-Fi Internet Radio. But, i was hoping to get info from people who have used these devices or of an upcoming device that I should be waiting for.

There's very few on the market. I've considered buying one similar in the past, but my concern is always this - who maintains the gateway (ie, the list of station data).

Even if you can find a company that manitains this to your required standards (and I can't) - how can you be sure that they won't go bust, leaving you with a paperweight?

I've yet to find a stand-alone device that will allow you to maintain your own list of stations, or key in a URL on demand.

These are the only devices that I know that play all three major formats for internet radio (ie MP3, real and windows).

I use my ipaq (PocketPC) with Resco Radio. This combined with Opera for PocketPC and TCPMP allows you to play any stream.

Second the suggestion of a PocketPC. You didn't say anything about price, but I'm all excited about my PocketPC / Cell Phone. I think it's worth it.
