Traveling to NYC - do I need to bring my vaccine card?

I'm traveling to NYC from another state. Do I bring my vaccine card with me to prove I'm vaccinated, or is a picture enough?

The wedding venue says they will accept a picture of our vaccine cards as proof of vaccination and I would rather not bring the physical card just in case it gets lost or damaged, but I don't know if everyone is accepting pictures as proof.

I have yet to see a place that doesn't accept a (good, legible) picture. However, obviously I haven't been in every indoor store, restaurant, and performance venue in the city.

I've been using a VaxCard, on the recommendation of someone in another thread, and so far so good. It's good to also keep a picture on your phone, just in case.

I try to keep as many options on me as possible, so yes, I'd bring the card. I actually keep mine in a lanyard for when I have to flash it. I assume at some point people are going to start being picky about these things, though, which is why.

If the wedding venue says a picture is fine, then I'd go with that--but what I'm thinking of is where ever else in NYC you might want to go to that will also be asking for proof.

Everyone will allow a picture. Here's the city website saying this.

Just bring it. There is no downside.
