Looking for a downtown Manhattan, pub-style situation that has outdoor, ground-floor, covered seating where I can reserve space for 15-25 people.
My work team is being asked to return to office somewhat after Labor Day and we are hoping to plan a little party before hand just to re-acclimate to each other and meet people who were hired during pandemic.
Looking for the following:
Downtown (under 14th ideally)
Outdoor (covid)
Covered (in case it rains)
Ground-floor (some people are understandably reticent to cram into an elevator to get to a rooftop)
Pub-like (Cheap: beer, crappy cocktails, laid back, bar food)
Will take reservations for 15-25 people on a weeknight most likely
We don't want to do a sit-down table situation, more of a stand-up, mingle, drop-in for an hour kind of thing. Hoping for August.
Please no notes on whether or not we should plan this. This is entirely optional, for fun only, taking precautions that we have all agreed on.
Any thoughts on locations?
Thanks for your help!

Also focusing in the financial district/trade center/Wall street area;
There's a bunch of restaurants/bars along Pearl Street near Hanover Square. They take over the street for outside seating in the summer months.
Otherwise, on the Hudson side you have PJ Clarks in the financial center, by the boat dock.

Response by poster: Rich, do you have any recommendations for Pearl Street for covered outdoor seating that you are aware of? It looks like most options are uncovered sidewalk or street seating as well as PJ Clarkes so far as I can tell. Covered is a priority.

you can reserve the covers back outdoor area of Emma Peele Room, perfect size for this
allen & broome, near the delancey/essex/grand street stations.
They will even let you bring outside food- i recommend williamsburg pizza or empanada mamas in the area :)
