Question for those familiar with Photopea

Is there a function / tool in Photopea (online photo editor) for history brush and / or erase to history?

Specifically, I want to be able to, for example, change the color (or other aspect) of an image, mark that change to be "remembered" then return to an earlier state and use the brush only in certain areas to (re)create the color of that "remembered state." Or I may want to keep the new color but use an eraser to return part of the image to an earlier state.

Sorry if this isn't very clear! It's been a million years since I used Photoshop, and I don't remember all the technical language associated with actions I want to take, and I also don't know what all Photopea has or doesn't have in common with Photoshop.

Best answer: You can work around this by using layers instead of history. Instead of "remembered state" just create a duplicate layer (or use Copy Merged and paste into a new layer if it's multiple layers).
