How to I Wake Up to a Playlist with Android?

I have a Samsung Galaxy s10, and I want to wake up to a playlist, randomly shuffled, every morning. This playlist is stored internally on the phone, not on spotify, youtube, etc. Can you suggest an app for this (either an alarm clock app with this functionality, or a music player with an alarm feature)?

I'm at my wits end because I've tried like twenty different apps and none of them work, and it shouldn't be this hard to do something my iPod classic did almost two decades ago! Here's what I've tried and couldn't get it to work:

Native Samsung clock app
Google clock app
Better Alarm
Alarm Clock Xtreme
Gentle Wakeup
"I Can't Wake Up" app
AMdroid
Foobar Music Player
MediaMonkey Music Player (this is only available with the Gold service, which is $50, way too steep for this one functionality)

Please help me MeFi! Thanks in advance!

Alarm Clock Xtreme. That said, for some reason right now it doesn't find all of my playlists, just some of them.

Response by poster: kbuxton, I tried that one and my playlist isn't showing up. when i tried to create one in-app, it didn't let me add any songs. where are your playlists stored? maybe it's just a bug?

metabaroque, that one works initially, thank you for that! this may be getting too picky, but is there a way to not have to "dismiss" the alarm, which then turns off my playlist? seems like most apps have that "dismiss" feature and it means I can't use my phone without stopping the music.

I can't believe in 2020 this is so difficult, yikes!

You might be able to set this up with Tasker. Here are some possible starting points, and you could try asking in the subreddit in the second link.
