How do I repair this earring?

What's the best way to repair this earring (it's supposed to be two complete hoops, one end of the outer hoop is detached)? I can't tell how it was originally assembled...do I want to glue it with some special glue? Solder it? other??? It's a very tiny attachment point.
I would use e6000. I would put a small blob on a toothpick and apply it to the earring from the toothpick. You may want to lightly wedge the outer hoop in between a couple books or pieces of wood while it dries. E6000 is thick and gloopy but easy to work with...you can find it at JoAnn, Michaels, hobby lobby, Target, Lowes, Home Depot, walmart, and 24 hour superstores. You may want a smaller tube - you can generally find those at craft stores. (If you go to Joann they normally have a 40% off coupon in their app. Michaels accepts competitor coupons.)

There is someone who will silver solder that for $5.00. Just call around. Try a rock shop that sells jewelry.

Are your earrings silver? A jewelry store that resizes rings in-house can solder it back together cheaply. Or, thinking outside the box, a community metalsmithing/silversmithing class instructor might be willing to do this for you as well for a few bucks.
