Identify this heist movie/tv episode?

This may be something I dreamt because I cannot find anything on google (just lots of references for how secure safety deposit boxes are) but I’m hoping someone else might remember it.

There’s a scene I’m picturing in which the characters are trying to steal something from a safety deposit box, but it requires two keys each at opposite ends of the room or something. They end up using a tool, some kind of telescoping key to turn them both simultaneously. And I feel like the tool was yellow? It could have been a heist movie or an episode of TV (a show like Alias, which I watched all of, where they’re always doing mini-heists), possibly even a book that I just made into a vivid memory? Thanks in advance!

The TV Tropes page on two key locks mentions something like this in The Opal Deception (an Artemis Fowl book). There is an Alias episode mentioned on that page too, but the TV Tropes description doesn’t include a device. However, this synopsis includes a broom handle - not exactly telescoping, and they’re trying to escape rather than steal something.

The Alias episode in question (S01E07) referenced by Paragon was a mop handle -- Sydney is undercover and trying to escape a mental institution, and uses the clamp-end of a mop handle to grip the key, then attempt to use the handle to turn the second key to the institution's double-keyed outer door. (Best image I could find.) Fits your description but for the safety deposit bit; can't recall having seen anything that also features that detail.

This is such an old reference that I'm embarrassed to share but it's the only thing that comes to mind based on your description.

Superman 3! hahaha
