Encouraging songs for IVF

I'm about to begin IVF and I'm looking for music to help me power through!

After two-and-a-half years of trying to get pregnant and experiencing several miscarriages, my husband and I are going to be embarking on IVF soon. I feel like I have a decent handle on the medical and logistical aspects of this whole process, but I’d love any and all recommendations for songs to help me stay optimistic and feel powerful. I want to spend the drive to and from doctor's appointments playing music that makes me feel awesome and strong and like we are going to beat this infertility thing once and for all (fingers crossed, at least).

Basically, I’m looking for songs that make you feel like you can achieve anything, conquer your biggest challenge, or start an incredible new adventure. This has been a long, difficult road, so lyrics that mention going through hard times are fine. I’m totally open as to genre/artist/time period, though probably most interested in female vocalists and songs that are great to belt out in the car. Bonus points for feminist lyrics. (And I know there have been lots of song request Ask threads, so please feel free to mention any that might overlap with this question!)

Thanks in advance! (And if you happen to have any other suggestions for self-care during IVF, I’m all ears.)

Best answer: Maybe a little corny, but i like "unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield (aka The Hills Theme)

There's a newish podcast called Forever 35 which is 2 women (older 30s and 40) talking about self care. ONe of the hosts is Doree Shifrir formerly from Buzzfeed who is 40 and doing IVF after 2 years of trying. She brings it up sometimes so maybe that would be some good listening for you?

Best answer: I feel like the lyrics and pace of Kisses Sweeter than Wine (I like the
version) is almost a meditation to having children and a happy home life.

Best answer: Rachel Platton’s Fight Song

(If you maybe want to get a bit emotional, here’s the version from the 2016 Democratic National Convention, which I really like.)

Best answer: The entire Moana soundtrack, but particularly How Far I’ll Go and We Know the Way.

Best answer: "Freedom" by Beyonce makes me want to push through any hurdle. It's extra poignant because she has been through the process you face.

Best answer: Not a song but the digital series How To Buy A Baby is well reviewed among couples trying to conceive via IVF.

Best answer: Beyonce's "Get Me Bodied" is my power anthem! Can sing and dance and jump around, and the body theme might be nice for IVF, too? Good luck to you.

Best answer: I have a few where the lyrics aren't 100% for your situation, but these work for me when I want to feel powerful.

The Monkees' Tomorrow's Gonna Be Another Day.

Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive.

Elton John's I'm Still Standing.

Also, when I was first diagnosed with cancer, I listened to The World Turned Upside Down from Hamilton over and over just to hear the Hercules Mulligan part:

We in the shit now.
Somebody's gotta shovel it.
Hercules Mulligan.
I need no introduction.
When you knock me down,
I get the fuck back up again.
