Comet from the Steven Universe scratches a particular musical itch for me, and I'm trying to find more. What songs sound like it?

Everything about that sounds like the Hold Steady. Craig Finn (the vocalist) has a new record, which I think is really good.

This is my favorite-ever question. I think The Dismemberment Plan's Daddy was a Real Good Dancer is a good soundalike. I also feel like Frank Turner is a bit of a British Greg Universe, but I'm not sure which song. The quiet parts of Get Better, maybe.

I think it's the guitar work in the Face to Face and Superdrag stuff that hits closest to what I was looking for.
