Help me find easy-to-use graphic design software for my Mac

Please point me to Mac software that can be used to make these adorable graphic design items.

I have a Mac and no graphic design experience. I want to try my hand at making simple and cute little cards and stuff. What is the easiest and cheapest software available for this type of stuff? Once I get the software, are additional bundles or plugins required to get fancy fonts, backgrounds, borders, and other cutenesses?

Take a look at canva.com.

Affinity Designer will easily handle those tasks, and it's easy to learn. And head over to Font Squirrel for tons of free fonts to play with, and look up background textures on the various public domain photo sites. If you don't want to make borders I'm not sure what to recommend except a Google Images search like "filetype:svg border" which makes it seem like there are some pretty good options at the various clipart sites.

IMHO if you're just interested in making cards, I recommend using a service like Tinyprints (there are lots of other ones). Cards like that are designed by talented and skilled artists and designers - it's not a matter of software, but skills. With the services, you can put your own photos and text into professionally designed templates and it'll look great.

Seconding Canva.com. You can do a lot for free, and they provide some great templates. Software doesn't make you a designer anymore than Microsoft Word makes you a novelist.
