Where can I find royalty free Ramones images?

Google and flickr no help.

For what? The Ramones own the rights to their own likenesses. Even if you took a picture of them, you probably still couldn't use it for much other than journalism.

andrewzipp: Are you sure?

I'd have thought that the regular papparazzi rules apply -- when there's no expectation of privacy (eg, in public) the Ramones can't control it.

Sure, that's what I said. You could use an image of them as journalism, as long as you took it, or you had the rights to the picture from the photographer. But pretty much any other use of the picture isn't going to be legal.

Not that this helps you, but andrewzipp - many bands' publicists provide royalty free photography for press, promotion etc - I think that's what redneck_zionist is looking for. I'm not sure if the Ramones as a group still have a publicist. You might try contacting Marky or CJ or Tommy (are they all still alive?) for info. What's it for?

Best answer: Late to the party here. Per drobot's suggestion, you could try contacting Ida Langsam, who was their publicist for years, or possibly Arturo Vega, who was associated with the band seemingly forever.

/Gabba gabba hey!
