Meal delivery for people with lots of allergies

I like the idea of getting some meals every week delivered to the house that would be reasonably affordable, easy and quick to make (we're all good cooks but come home from work tired, so complicated or more than say a half-hour to make will get frustrating) and introduce me to new recipes.

I looked at Blue Apron but they don't seem to let you outlaw certain ingredients. One of my household has a host of food allergies (nuts, corn, wheat, eggs, beans and legumes) so we'd need to be able to have meals without those things. Right now, during the week we get a lot of take-out and are frustrated at how bad for us, and expensive, that is. The meals can be unprepared. Are there any services that do this?

I'm in Nashville if that makes a difference.

Plated allows you to filter out some allergens and gives you a complete list of ingredients for each recipe. I placed my first order just today so I can't vouch personally, but several of my friends really like it.

If you worry about cross-contamination, I'm not sure that any pre-made service can guarantee that your meal won't have come in contact with corn or gluten or whatever. Maybe you should see if you can find a private chef or good home cook who'd make a week of meals for you.

Response by poster: Cross-contamination is only an issue with certain types of nuts. It's fine if there's trace amounts of the other stuff.

We wouldn't be able to afford more than about $25/30-ish per meal so a chef is right out, I'd assume.

I'll check out Plated!

Best answer: Plated definitely doesn't allow you to filter by all allergens--I know you can't exclude beans/legumes or dairy, as of a few weeks ago when I checked. All of the meal delivery options I know of don't serve dietary restrictions very well because they only make up a limited number of meal options each week and just don't have the ability to cater to food restrictions beyond vegetarian/non-vegetarian and occasionally meat preferences (e.g. Plated allows you to select specific proteins like beef, lamb, seafood).
