Is it possible to make a blog layout like this using Tumblr? Thanks in advance

Hrm, what is it you really like about that layout? When I look at the source code, there's a bunch of divs that look like they've been manually positioned because they each have their own special CSS specified coordinates. I think it's technically *possible* to make a blog layout like that but it might be tricky to find one that's already been made (though it could very well exist). The closest I can think of is trying to find "Pintrest like Tumblr" layouts but even that might be too grid like compared to the example you give.

So, in digging into this, I think there are ways to make something similar happen, but not something identical, and it would take work both in the theme and in thinking about what you're posting. The hardest part is the overlapping — it's a bug that can happen when Masonry.js is called before the images are loaded, but it does all of them not just some.

And in order to get the different sizes at different positions, I'd think that you'd have to include that variable amount of whitespace in the images themselves rather than counting on tumblr — tumblr's blocks seem too regular.

Hopefully someone else has a snappy jscript that can do this.
