Help me find a song like "Last Friday Night"

For reasons, I need a song that has a similar feel and tone to "Last Friday Night (TGIF)" by Katy Perry.
What I'm looking for is something poppy, fun, that has a sense of people sort of making a mess of things but having fun. Especially if it doesn't emphasize a love or sexual relationship, but more of a group of friends having a really good time or fucking up. If it's basically mainly about friendship, that's a huge bonus.
I'd love to stay away from super young pop stars (like the Disney Channel girls, etc.), and songs that focus on something specific like dancing or finding someone to go home with (which sort of excludes Kesha and Robyn). I don't care if it's a male or female singer. Everything that I love is a little too focused on a specific person, such as Lit's My Own Worst Enemy, or just so ubiquitous that I want to avoid it, like Last Friday Night and Raise Your Glass.
I've been listening to random stuff for days and I can't find anything -- and sadly, I need to find it, like, yesterday.

Speaking of TGIF - and you won't have to worry about them being too young, because all these performers are probably on social security by now:

Though most Ke$ha is hookup-focused, as you noted, I can't help but think that "Tik Tok" would be perfect.

Tonight Tonight by Hot Chelle Rae is in that genre, I think.

Owl City - "Good Time"
Miley Cyrus - "We Can't Stop"
.fun - "We Are Young" (possibly too ubiquitous, lacking pep, epic friendship)
Eve 6 - "Here's to the Night" (older, lacking pep, epic friendship)

Response by poster: I can't really get too specific about why I need it because it's for something I'm making as a gift exchange and I don't want my recipient to find out.
But I see I do need to get at least a little more detailed. It's not that the Katy Perry song is about Friday night, it's about all the shit that happens in the song (like dancing on table tops, think we broke the law, kissed but I forgot, etc.). It's not about wanting to dance or get drunk per se, it's about the events that happen around going out and possibly getting drunk or just generally behaving like young, carefree people. (Like, Lit's song has great lines about "I can't remember what you said or what you threw at me" -- that sort of tone. But good-natured, not hostile or dangerous.)
I absolutely want to stay away from, as I mentioned, very young pop stars because that is the request, and I personally would want to spork my eyes out listening to acts like Miley Cyrus. This is, sadly, the hardest part of all, because most of the music I've found is by young acts and/or is focused on hooking up or a breakup reaction or something similar.

Funniest version of this is "The Girl I Can't Forget" by Fountains of Wayne (more a tale of a disastrous first date, but it makes me laugh).

Hmm, not sure if it's too specifically college themed for you, but how about Asher Roth's I Love College?

That party last night was awfully crazy I wish we taped itVideo here...
I danced my ass off and had this one girl completely naked
Drink my beer and smoke my weed
But my good friends is all I need
Pass out at three, wake up at 10
Go out to eat, then do it again, man I love college..

Best answer: I know you ruled out Ke$ha, but Party at a Rich Dude's House probably would fit the bill. And I'll second the vote for We Own the Night. It sounds a bit older than Ke$ha.
My last suggestion is for Best Day of My Life by American Authors. It's not quite the crazy go out and party song that Last Friday Night gives you but it's about celebrating with friends and it sounds the most mature of the three.

Somewhat in the same vein as losvedir's suggestion is Ludo's Girls on Trampolines, about a group of friends trying to get to a crazy party.

Best answer: I Love It is probably too ubiquitous, but how about Girlfriend, by Icona Pop?
Or, a little older and queerer: Le Tigre's Nanny Nanny Boo Boo
Or Dragonette: We Rule the World or Pick Up the Phone.

Is Lady Gaga too pop for you? Because the plotline of "Just Dance" (and to some extent "Telephone") echo yours.

Ubiquitous a couple of years ago, but not so much now: I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas.

I should say that I know a lot of people hate the Black Eyed Peas, but I do have a soft spot for I Gotta Feeling - perhaps because of the really cute lip dubs.

Even though this song (Lyrics here) makes me want to claw my ears off, it seems to fit the bill - and will probably be new to your gift recipient since it seems to be a UK only hit. Grown up band/sentiment, specifically about friendship and partying and the ups and downs of life generally instead of hooking up.

I like "This Party Sucks" by the Slickee Boys. The title seems like a downer, but the party described sounds like fun!
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, by Cyndi Lauper is a perennial favorite.

This could be a bit tough, as most songs about being young and carefree are of course by young artists. However, as I read your question I happened to be listening to Ace of Base's "The Sign" album from 1993 - a lot of their songs tend to be about dancing at clubs, meeting hot strangers, or just being young such as: Dancer in a Daydream, Voulez Vous Danser and Young and Proud. A lot of their other songs would probably fit too.

Maybe Cee-Lo Green's Bright Lights Bigger City? Or Dragonette's Live in this City or Let it Go?
