Good shops for big men's clothing and wide shoes in Kansas City, Missouri?
I will be leaving my smallish university town to spend a week in Kansas City, Missouri attending a meeting. I would like to look at some men's clothes and shoes in person, something which a man of my measurements has little chance to do in my bucolic town of residence. I am interested specifically in:
• Big men's clothing from semi-formal to business casual -- ie not necessarily tuxedos, but a bit dressier than a polo/t-shirt and jeans.
• Shoes, including both dress shoes and sandals. Depending on the brand, I wear between a size 11-12 and EEE through EEEEEE width, with a high instep. Yes, it varies that much. Why they don't sell them on actual measurements, I don't know.
• Thrift stores.
Bonus if they are open after 5PM and/or on Sundays. I will be staying at the Marriott Downtown, 200 West 12th Street, and I will not have a car.
Thanks!

For shoes, you might try Bob Jones Shoes (on Grand, just a couple blocks over from Michael's). They're the kind of place that probably has one of everything in the back room somewhere.
