What are Princess croquettes?

You may recall the grisly story of Armin Meiwes, the German cannibal who posted an ad for someone willing to be eaten, and ended up eating a man named Bernd Brandes, who answered the ad. Meiwes said "I sauteed the steak of Bernd, with salt, pepper, garlic and nutmeg. I had it with Princess croquettes, Brussels sprouts and a green pepper sauce." I remember some speculation at the time of what exactly "Princess croquettes" were, but was there any definitive answer? I've Googled for it to no avail.

Best answer: I wonder if it is an odd translations for duchess potatoes.

Best answer: Googling for mentions of the original interview in German gets me "Prinzess-Kartoffelbällchen" and "Prinzesskartoffeln." These are pretty much the same as the duchess potatoes that hmo mentions.
