The Brooklyn Historical Society doesn't have many images online, but you'll definitely be able to find aerial photos in the collection at their library on Pierrepont St.

Best answer: You can also try USGS Earth Explorer to search for aerial photos. The USGS has lots of types of aerial photos, what your are probably looking for is classified as Historic Photographs (1939-present), referred to as Single Frame Records. If you are using Earth Explorer to search, click to set a coordinate and then in the search box click Data Sets, expand the Aerial Photography section. The historic photos will be under Aerial Photo Single Frames. All of the images from USGS are free to view, download, or print; they do have printing services available for a fee.

The NYC Dept of Records has almost a million photographs of old new york online. There is a mountain of stuff. You might find what you want there.

The Brooklyn Public Library has a section at it's main building devoted to the history of Brooklyn. The librarians there will know.
