What song played over the end credits of tonight's series finale of "Eastbound and Down?"
This is driving me FREAKING CRAZY. It was a slow balladly song that sounded a little like Rufus Wainright but probably wasn't. The lyrics were something about "some people have dreams" or something. I tried googling them in quotes but nothing. Thanks!!

Response by poster: My searches said that too, but that's not it.

Best answer: Benji Hughes - "Kenny"

Response by poster: Ding ding ding winner!! I'm guessing that was written just for the show and that's why google is helpless to find it?

That is fairly unlikely, as the video I linked to was uploaded in May of 2010. I think it's just a case of Benji Hughes not being Coldplay or Rihanna (or even Menomena) or something along those lines.
FYI, twitter is really helpful for searching for things that people might be wondering about right_at_this_moment (like your query).

Yeah, but it's named "Kenny!" Seems like it must all least been inspired by the show, or else it's a pretty big coincidence...

Response by poster: The art for the single also seems to indicate it was written about Mr. Powers. And I never thought of using twitter search- i guess I assumed tweets would show up in google. But I suppose they are not indexed instantly.
