Pilates classes in NYC

Looking for a Pilates class in NYC. Want to try the machines, but even a mat-based class that doesn't cost a fortune would be good.

I have a friend that works at Tribeca Bodyworks. I've never attended a class there, but I hear it's pretty good.

Can you narrow down "not a fortune"? What neighborhood are you in? What train lines are you near? There are a LOT of Pilates places in New York :)

Response by poster: Upper West Side, the 1 line is convenient. Not a fortune means $25 or less per class. Does that bring anything to mind? Thanks.

I've heard excellent recommendations about Pilates Shop Yoga Garage on 96th St. off CPW.
