wireless hdmi?

I have a tv in a room without adirectv satellite receiver can I wirelessly send the signal to the tv? I have seen wireless boxes that send computer output to tvs can I do this with hdmi?

Yes there are many of these devices around, from super-expensive brand name models only sold in A/V stores (the same brands that still try to pretend that hdmi cables should be expensive) to cheapo no-name ones on ebay that are drop shipped from Hong-Kong.

If you need the signal to go through walls look for something cheap locally, or be prepared to return things via mail if they don't work out.
