Help with my EVO

How do I delete apps from my HTC EVO?

Have had my EVO for one month. I need step-by-step instructions on how to delete apps that I have downloaded (free) and now realize I will not use. Please help - thanks!

1. Open the app list (this is a little ^ arrow button at the bottom left of my screen on my HTC Desire).
2. Click Settings.
3. Click Applications.
4. Click Manage Applications.
5. The "Downloaded" tab should be selected already. Find and click on the app you want to remove.
6. Click the Uninstall button.
