Email being delivered as text ... but why?

For some reason, one (and only one) correspondent's emails arrive on my phone as multi-part text messages. I can't find any reason in the settings that this should happen, and starting over with a fresh new correspondence does not change this. Please hope me.

It's them. They have your phone number as the default contact instead of your email address. If you can physically lay hands on their phone just go in and fix it.

I have a good friend who sends 30% of her text messages to my home email address then gets annoyed when I don't answer right away. Le sigh.

Response by poster: Thanks, fshgrl! I will mention this and see if she can check her settings.

Response by poster: More weirdness: She is sending these messages from her computer, not phone. When they arrive (as text) they don't show up in my inbox, in spite of being tagged as "important," but go straight to "all mail." And she swears that the primary contact shows my email address.

Grrrrrr.

Then she's not sending it to the primary contact. Easy ways to check this: have her delete your phone number from her address book and send an email or ask her to manually type in your email address and send an email.

If its coming as a text she's sending it to your phone number somehow.
