bellingham accomodations magic words

Lastminutedisasterfilter: Are there any places to stay in Bellingham, WA tonight?
My wife and I have started riding from vancouver, bc to portland, and we made it to bellingham about 4 hours ago and have been to [as far as we can tell] every single hotel/motel in town, and none of them have any rooms of any kind available.
Apparently, RSVP has clogged up the works going in the other direction.
Riding on to burlington would be too far for us since we've just added a bunch of extra time/kms/frustration to what was already a big day of riding for us, and we've been backtracking through town to the point where we're almost spit back out the north end again.
please hope us, metafilter!
[i'll try to check in later, but I'm just mooching internet from a sympathetic hotel clerk right now, so I don't have a plan for checking this thread, either.]

There are a whole bunch of places available tonight through airbnb.

Do you have AAA? If so, call them -- they can find you a room if one exists.

It's been 2 hours, hopefully you've found a place by now. Otherwise, if you see this before 11:00 p.m., come on by our house; we have a guest bedroom and half bath upstairs. We're in downtown Bellingham. No charge, just pass it on. We do have cats. I don't know how else to tell you how to get hold of me except to give you our phone number: 360-733-9099.

We did indeed find a place to stay thanks to being in the lobby while someone called to cancel.
Super thanks to everyone, especially you, kestralwing!!!
If we're ever in bellingham again [which we might be because it seemed like a fun town] I'll be sure to call and buy you all of the beers. Just all of them. Mwah!
We're in Olympia now, which is another pretty place, but the stretch from bellingham down chuckanut and through fidalgo and whidbey islands and then down the west coast of hood canal will be tough to beat in terms of pure gorgeousness.
