Sweet scripty font that I would love to have!

I would love to know the name of this font. Whatthefont.com had no clue.
Actually, looking at the two 'i's in Kitira, it looks like they're different - so done individually, not the same character twice - and probably not a font.

Response by poster: Sorry, that's the biggest version of the logo that I could find online.

I meant larger as in, more letters - a paragraph, etc. For one logo, unless there's a larger text sample, I would assume it's designed by hand and not a font.

Below on the page it says, "Drawing with Words in Stylized form(75% Reduction of drawing size)." So it seems to be hand/computer drawn and not a font at all.

So it looks like Vance Kitira is the name of the person who started the company. Perhaps it's just his signature?

I agree that this is likely hand-lettered rather than a font. Besides the two "i"s, the two "a"s also display differences. This isn't indisputable evidence because some typefaces are actually designed with alternate versions of certain characters. But in this case the alternate versions of the vowels aren't different enough to serve individual functions, making it more likely that the differences are due to hand-lettering rather than design.

It almost looks like a customized/modified Visigoth. Once you actually compare, it's pretty clearly not that font, especially the caps. But it could indicate a particular style of calligraphy, which might be a new starting point toward something closer. I'm leaning toward the custom lettering opinion already brought up. Actually identifying the style I'll have to leave to those more knowledgeable of such things.

The subtle differences between the a's and i's lead me to believe that it's hand-lettered, too.
