Having our Murder Mystery Party tonight, and trying to button up some last minute things. I need some music suggestions for ambiance. The setting is 1930's France, in a casino. Lot's of secret agents and what not.

Best answer: That's Boyer, not Boyey. Bad fingers, go to the naughty step.

Best answer: Vocalist Jean Sablon, who recorded with Reinhardt and Grappelli.

Best answer: Anything "hot jazz" or "gypsy jazz".

Maybe the sort of music that inspired the musical Cabaret, though not the actual soundtrack, please.
